Maryam Gulraiz - FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Maryam is a dual certified as a Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Maryam is dedicated to treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Her approach emphasizes on nutrition, sleep, daily routines, psychotherapy, and, when appropriate, medication as a supportive tool to help you live the life you envision. Maryam holds a Bachelors in Cognitive Psychology from University of California Irvine. She then pursued her passion for Psychiatry by obtaining Masters of Nursing In Family and Psychiatric Mental Health.

Maryam offers guidance, coaching, and evidence-based treatment, specializing in ADHD across the lifespan, as well as Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, and other mental health concerns. In her spare
time, Maryam likes to read, run, and cook.

Dr Imani Walker - Collaborative Psychiatrist

Dr. Imani J. Walker is a physician trained in General Adult Psychiatry. She has had the honor of completing her undergraduate training at Xavier University of Louisiana as well as earning a Master’s in Science in Public Health from Tulane University. Dr. Walker later obtained her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her training at esteemed medical institutions including Temple University and UCLA. 
After completing a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry, she continued on to open a private practice in Southern California and ultimately went on to caring for acutely ill psychiatric patients including those with substance abuse issues and eating disorders as well as providing mental health care to the homeless and indigent populations. She is currently Chief Medical Officer of Gateways Hospital  Mental Health Center.

My name is May Ann Decierdo, and I proudly serve as the administrative staff here. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I’m committed to supporting each patient with compassion and professionalism—making every interaction smooth, respectful, and centered on your well-being.
It’s a privilege to be part of your journey toward healing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, exploring nature, and reading about mental health and wellness. I value activities that promote calm, connection, and personal growth—both at home and in the work  I do.

Vimal Patel - PMHNP-BC

Vimal Patel is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Concordia University. With over 14 years of living in the United States and a rich cultural background from his upbringing in India, Vimal brings a unique, compassionate perspective to mental health care. Vimal has spent nine years as an intensive care nurse, gaining deep insight into healthcare disparities within communities.
Vimal takes a warm and collaborative approach with each client, creating a space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported. Vimal’s style is patient-centered and culturally informed, and He believes in working together to find what truly helps you feel better. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and mood disorders using both medication management and supportive therapy. Whether we’re exploring lifestyle changes, adjusting medications, or just talking things through, Vimal’s goal is to meet you where you are and help you move forward.
